hey guys!! i am runing quet a big site and its based on cutenews, i would really like to switch to strawberry because it seems like it comes with all the addons already and many many more features than regular cutenews. my concern is will i be able to save all my content that i currently have on my site (about 30 posts) save them somehow and then import them into strawberry?

CuteNews or CuteNewsRU (this site) as the two are different, albeit based off the same code.

Indeed Strawberry has a convert feature. It works in the same way like cnr's.

hehe sorry im just really afraid of making a wrong move here because i lost all my content with cutenews once already and i dont want it happening agian, so correct me if im wrong;

in my cutenews admin panel, Options -> Backup Tool, then I make a new backup file and it tells me "All news and archives were successfully BackedUp under directory './data/backup/filename'"

so your telling me that in Strawberry there is a way of uploading that file into ur site and pretty much importing all the content into ur site?

yeah basically it's going to do news injection either flat file (txt injectoin) or mysql (database injection). if it's just like cnr's it's just a little list of links you click it and it says ok imported lol have you tried yet? i understand you dont want things to go wrong when dealing with irreplaceable content
