Linking articles stored in CNR as objects in new article

I've been looking around to see if there is an existing solution to set links to existing articles while writing a new article, like object linking known from some other CMS.
However, it seems that CNR supports only manual enter of link, which isn't the happiest solution for someone who has limited knowledge. Better solution would be to offer to user an interface by which it can search for articles and/or categories and choose with which one it wants to link.
Is there a way to get a function like that working with CNR, to somehow allow for object linking, like there currently is for example images, but instead of images, it would be articles or even categories?

I have seen a plugin here, that you can make a list of links and whenever that text appears in the article it will be automatically linked....

Not actually because it is a predefined list of items, and I would like to be able to do internal linking of articles or categories through some cnr object browser.
