Yes, I did it with a CuteField, it can also be done with a X-Field.

You creat a new field, naming it however you want, for example: more-authors
Then you, just put it in the template near wherever your author displays, you can
use xfgiven to show the other author/s only if there's input, you can enter a second
author or even more authors.
