No post by FI-DD since Jul.05, 2009

I noticed that there is no post by FI-DD since Jul.5, 2009 who is the real problem-solver of this forum.

I think that without FI-DD, this project is dead and CuteNews.RU have no future. So in the past few days I am shifting my site to Joomla 1.5 and discovering its rich and powerful options.

I have noticed it too. This sucks. More and more bugs are popping up and I'm unable to solve them myself. I'm not gonna use Strawberry, cause then I may experience the same thing again.

The problem is that I depend on CuteNews now. Two questions are withholding me at the moment:

- CuteNews was perfect for integration in an existing website, I don't believe that's possible with Joomla, is it?
- Will it be easy to transfer my articles?

Please let me know, so I dont have to bother you with my CuteNews questions ever again .

ps I'm very thankful for the support I have been receiving from you people in the past.

Yaa you are right . Without FI-DD it will be pretty hard. There will be no development on the scripting front. Now a days web security is such a big thing, if any bug comes up, there will no one to solve here. I wish FI-DD to return , but it seems chances are very feeble. Aren't there any FI-DD friends here?
I changed from CUtenews to Cutenews Ru, I like it's comaptibilty with static pages. I have no energy to think of other scripts now...
Any how.. I don't want this script to meet it's end just like Cutenews.. But atleast at Cutenews there are two guys Funimations and lkj who are keeping it alive...

Either way, it is an amazing script which helped a lot
of people, and many still use it, so do I - working on my
redesigned website I change my cutenews 1.3.6 to cutenewsRu

I think we should be here helping people, helping spreading
the script, find new fixes and sharing more add-ons/hacks
to make it better as we can.

Hi guys,

first of all I want to say sorry for not posting in almost a year.

Last summer I startet my new job which gets me busy from 9am to 8pm every day. Solving problems in the forums is really time consuming and I'm not in the mood for it after having worked for 10 or more hours.

So I'm afraid I can't keep up the support as I used to in the last 5 years or so which I enjoyed very much.

I believe there's no need to be scared about the hosting and the domain. Ramon promised me to take care of it.

If anybody wants to have moderator permissions feel free to post in this topic.
