PHP2 integration

I found this tutorial and wanted to clarify my doubts. has anyone tried out this script: http://www.phpbbguru.net/community/topic10213.html





1. Can this work in such a way that the comments be posted by only the registered members of my phpbb forum?

2. Is this the replica of cutenews or is there any degradation in the script. what are the differences apart from the database?

3. Is this script encoded in anyway like it does in cutenews for the copyrgith notice. i have a cutenews licence, can i use?

4. btw, is there anyone would post whats in that russian, there's some error translating it!

I haven't found a way to do that yet but I know there's been a lot of talk of people trying to do that. Someone might have figured it out yet, I'm not sure.

I believe it's new but coded to run and function similarly. The database is flat file or mysql.

Your license with cutephp has nothing to do with cutenews.ru and can not be used with this version (only because there's no need). The copyright only shows up in the admin panel and cannot be removed.

In that russian what? I won't be able to help you with that anyway, I only know english. But I'm not sure what you're looking at.

I have tried it, it is working great!
I just needed to fix that when a user is added to CNRU
it was added as a writer instead of commenter

although there is a problem when someone updates his
profile in phpbb2 it doesn't update CNRU (password or email)
so you have to do it manualy or so

This script is amazing, really guys, if you have PHPBB2 forums you should integrate them
with CNR, I had only this one problem that when updating the forum profile it will not
update the CNR user profile - but! today I fixed it up, so if anyone intrested I can share it
or maybe even make a new topic with all the details and all the info needed to it, plus
some more additions by me.

At the moment PHPBB2 as I said, I might be able to make
it work with PHPBB3 but I don't have it installed really, so
I cant check it :X

Is there anyone using PHPBB3 or have space and can install one
and let me try inegrate it with CNR?

I only have very limited space in my pretty expensive host and
I already use PHPBB2, so I can't work on the PHPBB3 integration
without having one to test =\
