Recaptcha image verification

Postby Torstein » Tue Oct 27, 2009 12:38 pm

This plugin has a bug that makes it fail on some servers, though it works perfectly on other servers, keep frosty if you try to use it!

Recaptcha (http://recaptcha.net) is a image verification protocol which both provides us with image verification and simultaniously transcribes old books.

Upload all files and folders to /path/to/cnr/plugins, enable plugin through options > manage plugins, use {recaptcha} to display the recaptcha verification.

If you are familiar with recaptcha, and want to use your own, non global, keys, please edit the keys in recaptcha.php.

You can test an implementation of the plugin here: http://thunemedia.no/recaptcha-demo.php

Enjoy![/b]

Do you get any error messages in the plugin menu, the edit template section or on the page in which you display the recaptcha?

I did some minor changes to the download, so you migt want to redownload it.

If you have it activated at the same time as CATCHA you will experience errors, they are not compatible.

If you for some reason can't get to the plugin menu after activating this plugin, you can deactivate it through deleting " 'recaptcha.php' => true, " in data/plugins.php.
