RSS Problem

Postby typeman » Wed Mar 03, 2010 11:18 pm

There's numerous topics about there being a problem with RSS feeds, but none of them had my current problem so i was hoping someone could help! :)

On my /rss.php file, i get the following error:

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 6 at column 57: xmlParseEntityRef: no name
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

and then nothing else is shown. I then checked my source code and everything was there. I then also put it into a feed generator and it worked perfectly fine. The only thing is I don't know how people can then subscribe to my feed...

Any ideas? :)

Have you edited rss.php in any way?

Do you have a link, so we can check it out for ourselves?

I have something to remember, about two weeks ago I checked
my RSS page which was working perfectly, suddenly I found an error
I tried several ideas I had none have worked, after some investigation
I found that one plugin (it was the latest comments plugin) made it happen
there were just two linebreaks in the end and after deleteing them
it worked :)

So you can try disabling and enabling several plugins and each time
see if it suddenly works, to see if any of them is affecting your rss

That error says there is an invalid entity reference. An entity reference refers to the content of a named entity. References to parsed general entities use ampersand ( & ) and semicolon ( ; ) as delimiters.

In your case:
Baxy-Z.com - Video Game News, Reviews, Previews & Videos
