tinyMCE

I have the

same problem

I've downloaded the files (all of them), added the tinymce.php in plugins dir (and also the tinymce source folder), activated the plugin, but it doesn't work. It is refered to a readme.txt, but my version does not have a readme.txt, only a readme.html in a charset my brower didn't understand.

It would be great if anyone could help me out on this one.

Open tinymce.php and change this:

Code: Select all
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="./tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js"></script>

to this:

Code: Select all
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="./plugins/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js"></script>

And when I deleted the smileys and the simpler layout fields it looks really good.

Still one problem though.

When I press save it saves story to database even if I haven't written any content. Is it possible to do some input checking before posting? Is this a cuteNews issue or tinyMce thing?

It's a tinyMCE thing, I guess.

float: left;

clear: both;

and now everything fits nicely together.

Hey, where do you put this css?

Hi! Sorry for bugging, but every time I add the width line in tinymce.php, my tinymce doesn't show any more. And when I add the width to default.css, nothing happens...

I've installed this, but it doesn't show up. Tried everything in this thread so far.

Uploaded the php file and the folder with TinyMCE to the plugin folder. Using this source to call it

Code: Select all
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="./plugins/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js"></script>

Then the path is still wrong.

Change it until it works.

Yea. I managed to get it to work. The problem was that I uploaded it to the server and then moved the folder on the server. So something was wrong. I deleted the folder and uploaded it again. Seems to work now.

Doesn't look that good in Opera though.

EDIT:

Everything looks like a mess. Tried adjusting things like on the first page here, but then it doesn't work. Seems that I have 3 text fields when I enable this :lol:

You mean TinyFCK?

I like the demo. I just can't figure out where to put the integration code from http://p4a.sourceforge.net/tinyfck ; if I put it into TinyMCE.php file and put the folder either into the plugins folder or root, I just get a blank page when I click on "browse" in TInyMCE

Open the plugin and add for example width: "500" below height: "400".

Can anyone help with the overlapping of the editor. I tried the above...adding the width...but then it makes the editor disappear. Any other way of changing the width???
