I stopped viewing Firefox as an absolute IE replacement after the v1 series was replaced by v2 and most recently v3 etc. These days I find Firefox to be very sluggish, it's lost the "cut-down browser" effect that made FF1 such an excellent alternative. Now Chrome seems to inhabit that space. Opera is nice but it seems to have its own way of rendering certain elements and I dislike the UI. IE8 remains a pile of crap but as a web designer I have to cater for IE8,7 and.. ugghh 6 :( . Safari.. hrrmm.

No I don't mean how fast it loads pages but the software itself.

ah ok, i see. well, personally i don't experience that at all.
the only browser which feels faster is Chrome. all other broswers seems to load a bit slower.
maybe it's something that causes by the system and it's settings on the computer.
guess every experience will always be something individually

I use Opera... I open around 50 tabs, download all stuff, add bookmarks, speed dials.. it stands for all
But firefox, it crashes off late more frequently....

Opera is pretty cool.. Chrome.. it's not so appealing...
