I just discovered this website and news system...but no recent threads since a few years..... no one user it anymore ? weird!!!

CNR is still alive and kicking, and although some special new downloads in regular news section haven't been available, community has made quite a few contributions which updated and patched the system to run on php 5.3+

Yep, I'm still using it for my website and it's great but didn't had time for creating some new stuff these days, maybe soon :)

I have recently moved to a new server and it works great under PHP 5.2, I'll think about patching the code
for newer PHP versions later on if I'll have enough time for it, either way still satisfied :)
